This blog is an excellent idea and long overdue. I thought I'd start out by introducing everyone to our new west coast organization just launched for 2009. We call it Safe Cascadia.

We are affiliated with ICA, though our focus is not only CPTED. We also embrace community development, social programs, and neighborhood revitalization. Our website is on the ICA front page (www.safecascadia.org)

One thought circulating is to organize a 2009 conference / sypmposium by collaborating with ICA and other like-minded groups. If you have any ideas on possible partners or themes please drop us a line. Meantime, best of the season and a happy 2009!
